Thinking about flat towing your front-wheel drive vehicle? STOP before you hook up!

Most front-wheel drive vehicles are NOT designed to be flat towed with all 4 wheels on the ground. Doing so can cause serious transmission damage because the transmission may not receive proper lubrication while being towed.

Better options include:

• Using a tow dolly

• Transporting it on a trailer

• Checking the owner’s manual for approved towing methods

A few minutes of checking now can save you thousands in repairs later!
